Comperio Research was contracted to undertake a feasibility study to estimate the potential appeal, content, demand and pricing levels for potential seating products at the renovated stadia hosting the DLF Indian Premier League (IPL) 2008. The objective of the research was to assess the preferred content and potential prices of IPL-based products in the new international-standard stadia with improved hospitality facilities, premium services and an overall improvement of the experience. The products were assessed across general admission, high net worth individuals and corporate markets.

The research was structured in two stages: an initial quantitative phase undertaken with general admission and high net worth fans at the stadia during the DLF IPL 2008 matches, and a second qualitative phase, where focus groups and face-to-face interviews were conducted with the HNW and corporate market segments respectively.
