RFU appoint ISG to help develop their strategy at Twickenham

International Stadia Group (‘ISG’) have been appointed by the Rugby Football Union (‘RFU’), the national governing body for rugby union in England, to assist the RFU in developing their strategy for Twickenham. Twickenham is the home of English rugby union and the largest stadium in the world devoted solely to the sport of rugby. The RFU is determined to offer a truly exceptional fan experience that matches the stadium’s iconic position in world rugby. The engagement will provide the RFU with clear direction on their future approach to ticketing to enhance the experience of all users of Twickenham and will rigorously quantify the potential revenues to produce the optimal long term strategy for the stadium.

ISG’s role will be to assist the RFU in assessing the key ingredients required to produce the optimal rugby fan experience. Fan and customer involvement will form a key part of ISG’s work and their research will include an unprecedented number of surveys in order to gauge what truly matters to rugby supporters from general admission ticket holders through debenture holders to the guests at hospitality environments in and around the stadium.
