Client case studies — Scandinavian TPC hosted by Annika
The requirement — On-site event research

The Scandinavian TPC golf tournament commissioned Comperio Research to conduct on-site research at the Sweden based Ladies European Tour event. The objective of the study was to collect comprehensive intelligence on:

  • Visitor demographics
  • Visitor behaviour and attitudes
  • Visitor satisfaction with the event
  • Sponsor awareness
  • Brand usage
  • Suggestions for improvement

    The solution

    Comperio used state of the art point-of-service technology (kiosks) to gather data from spectators, corporate guests and event patrons. This technology permits large samples of data to be collected with high confidence levels. A “research tent” was situated near the main entrance in the TPC village to ensure the collation of a robust sample.

    The key results

    Comperio’s research programme delivered powerful information which enabled the Scandinavian TPC to evaluate the true success of the event, and quantify the value delivered to sponsors.

    This insight can be used to implement improvement strategies which will lead to an enhanced visitor experience.
